Fine Silver, Coin and Sterling Silver Rod
Fabricated from 99.99% purity silver to customer-specific dimensions, mechanical properties, and composition
RSC fabricates fine silver rods, coin silver rods, and sterling silver rods. Silver or silver alloy rods are used in applications ranging from medical components, slip rings, the space industry, flutes to novelty bullets for collectors.
Our quality control processes are certified to ISO 9001:2015.
Coin silver and sterling silver alloys requiring copper are manufactured with only OFHC, 4N purity copper. Coin silver is traditionally defined as 90% Ag and 10% Cu. This alloy was commonly used in American coins until recent history, hence its name.
Optical emission spectroscopy assays against LBMA (London Bullion Market Association) certified standards are employed to assay product.
- Silver rods from 1/8 to 3 inches in diameter can be produced. Lengths to 9 feet or 2.75 meters are possible, depending on diameter.
